The Destin Fishing Rodeo is THE signature event of the Destin calendar. Held throughout the entire month of October, this legendary fishing tournament draws anglers from across the country to compete across dozens of fish species categories. The harbor comes alive with energy, and the entire community celebrates together. This is Destin at its most authentically itself.

October: Destin Seafood Festival

Running simultaneously with the Fishing Rodeo, the Destin Seafood Festival is a celebration of the Gulf's incredible bounty. Held along the Destin Harbor, the festival features fresh Gulf seafood, live music, arts and crafts vendors, and a family-friendly atmosphere.

June: Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic

One of the most prestigious offshore fishing tournaments in the Southeast, the Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic draws elite sport fishing teams from across the country. The harbor atmosphere during this event is electric.

Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day

Destin celebrates all three major summer holidays with exceptional energy — spectacular fireworks over the Gulf, live music on the boardwalk, and the entire community coming together.
